You can upgrade, repair and connect different Snigel products.
Snigel equipment is designed as a system. With replaceable buckles and modular attachment solutions, you can adapt your equipment, connect compatible products and replace selected components when needed. This helps you get more from your existing gear and configure it for different tasks.
The Herma Buckle
The Herma buckle has no separate male or female parts. Both sides use the same interface, so any Herma buckle can connect to another.
This makes it easy to connect compatible Snigel products or modify and upgrade existing gear to work together.
The Herma buckle comes in two versions: a standard buckle and a repair buckle. The repair version can be opened, allowing it to be attached directly to a fixed strap without unstitching or removing it.
I-Bar and T-bar attachments
The Snigel Herma T-Bar and I-Bar Set is a flexible attachment system for mounting bags and equipment on backpacks, vests and chest rigs with MOLLE webbing. The T-Bar can also be used as a vest closure.
T-Bar: Position the T-Bar where needed. Insert one horn under the MOLLE webbing, then pull and twist the other horn into place on the opposite side. Pull the buckle to make sure it is securely attached.
I-Bar: Thread the webbing strap under the MOLLE webbing in the direction you want the buckle to face. Pass the strap through both slots of the buckle, adjust the length and secure the hook-and-loop fastening.
Mount the remaining buckles, attach your bag or equipment and check that everything is securely positioned before use.
